It is a very exciting month next month. October is not only my birth month, not just because it's mid-spring, it's because it's Good Food Month here in Sydney!!!! YAY!! The Sydney Morning Herald is conducting it's 11th annual Good Food Month (GFM). It's the best month for lovers of good food and wine, much like myself 
After reading the newsletter about this years GFM I became somewhat a little disappointed with this year's "happenings". Last year it was absolutely fabulous. We did the Sugar Hit with as many participating top restaurants and I also really enjoyed the festivities at Hyde park in the evenings after work. I was so looking forward to the next one!
This year looks a little subdued. A glimpse of what they have to offer is:

An evening with Ferran Adria
The Good Living Growers' Market
Dine at Sydney's best restaurants
Exclusive offer for Citi Customers
The "Let's Do Lunch" offer looks very nice. For $33 you can get a main meal, coffee and a choice of Brown Brothers Wine, Coopers Beer, or a bottle of S.Pellegrino water.
You've got to check out the restaurants that are participating in this offer. There is a very extensive list available. I'm sure to try a few fo them. Yummm. Lunch, anybody?
UPDATE!!!! I think I may have jumped the gun. I read a little further into the Let's Do Lunch and it does look like we have Sugar Hit and the festival at Hyde Park afterall... PHEW! YAY! Now I'm very happy and excited!! C'mon people, give it a go!!
